Description:

Step right into Lupi’s Mexican Grill and Sports Cantina in Recinto Sur Street if you are a sports fan looking for a fun, familiar and tourist friendly experience. Lupi’s is owned by former New York Yankee Ed Figueroa, who helped the team win the 1978 World Series as starting pitcher and was the first Puerto Rican pitcher to win 20 games in a season. The restaurant is packed with sports memorabilia including items autographed by some of the greatest players of all time including Muhammad Ali, Mickey Mantle, Brett Favre, and Wayne Gretzky. The Tex-Mex cuisine is best known for its Puerto Rican fajitas and also includes a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and steaks. Try the Pink Margarita, one of the house specialty drinks. Also try the ‘Boricua en la luna’ – a stronger concoction made with various Puerto Rican rums and named after the popular song. Lupi’s hosts karaoke nights every weekend, a great opportunity to enjoy food and drinks and sing the night away with your friends.
